The Bank

Rural Bank of Barili (Cebu), Inc. with its Head Office located at Corner H. Alquizola and C. Alquizola Streets, Poblacion, Barili, Cebu was organized on September 21, 1970 by Mr. Teotimo A. Abellana and officially started its operation on March 8, 1971.

The Bank opened its initial four (4) branches one after the other in the following locations: 1st in Dumanjug, 2nd in Moalboal, 3rd in Carcar and 4th in San Fernando. In 2006-2007 it added one branch in Santander and opened two (2) Satellite Offices in Lawaan Talisay which was later converted into a branch office and Dalaguete which was relocated & converted to a branch office located in Sibulan, Negros Oriental. In 2008 it added one (1) Satellite Office in Liloan which was also relocated and converted to a branch office located in Toledo City. Currently, the bank have nine (9) offices including the Head Office. RBBI now has a regular workforce of sixty-nine (69) employees .

As a Rural Bank, Rural Bank of Barili (Cebu), Inc. is operating under the authority of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
